An Update from Me.
With so much interest in my recovery from people across the world, I thought it about time that I got my website and blog sorted out. I’d like to offer my personal thanks to Phil Jones of Brother and theEword in Manchester for getting it together for me, it’s a massive improvement on what I had previously.
It’s been nine months since the collision and my recovery continues to be very slow. I’m in significant discomfort with my back and the days seem to just blend into each other right now. It’s mentally very tough for me being housebound a lot of the time, I’ve been desperate to get back on the bike training, however the experts continue to tell me to be patient.
I’d like to thank every single person that continues to enquire about how I’m doing, the cycling community have been absolutely fantastic and keep me motivated to get back to the bike.
London 2012 is soon upon us and I’ll be cheering on the Olympic and Paralympic teams to gold medal performances. Beijing still only seems like yesterday and continue to hold happy memories for me of good times. They’ll be back I’m sure. Until next time.
